Linguine & Alfredo Sauce

If you love you pasta but aren't the mood for the same spaghetti and meatball for dinner again, try out this pasta dish instead. It's not a difficult dish to make in the least and you can garnish and plate it just like your favourite Italian restaurant.

Ingredients:

1 pkg linguine pasta

1/2 onion

3 cloves of garlic

2 cups mushrooms

1 tbsp all purpose seasoning

Alfredo sauce:

1/3 cup parmesan cheese

2 cups milk

1 cup of cream cheese

2 tbsp margarine

2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

To make the sauce, first take the onions, garlic, and mushrooms and saute them in a skillet with the margarine. Then stir in the milk, cream cheese and all purpose seasoning. Lastly you'll add the parmesan cheese and let it simmer for a few minutes. Remember to not have the heat on too high or the sauce may stick to the bottom of the skillet and burn.

While the sauce is simmering, cook your pasta according to its packaging. When the pasta is fully cooked, add it to the sauce and stir so that every noodle is coated. Then serve.
