Beef Meatballs and Mushroom Sauce
Homemade meatballs have always been a family favourite in my home. My kids absolutely love this recipe and I'm sure yours will too! These meatballs are best served with spaghetti and a slice of garlic bread.
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
1 cup chopped mushrooms
2 tsp garlic seasoning
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped onions
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tsp jerk seasoning
In a large bowl, combine ground beef breadcrumbs, garlic, garlic seasoning, onions, and jerk seasoning. In a separate bowl, whisk egg and then add to ground beef mixture. Scoop a 1/4 cup of ground beef and roll them into balls. Place them on a baking sheet and cook them at 325° until brown.
Mushroom Sauce:
1 cup chopped mushroom
1 1/2 cup 2% Milk
1 can mushroom soup
1 tbsp olive oil
In a sauce pan, saute mushrooms in oil until brown. Then add milk and mushroom soup. Let simmer until ready to serve.
