Ground Beef Stroganoff
Beef Stroganoff is truly a comfort food. Especially in the winter time right after coming home from a long day and dealing with even longer traffic lines. Pretty quick and easy meal to prepare so no slaving over a hot stove for this one. Very rich, creamy and brings lots of flavor!
Ingredients:
1 lb lean ground beef
2 cans condensed cream of celery soup
1 cup milk
1 medium onion chopped
3 cloves of garlic chopped
1 yellow bell pepper chopped
1 red bell pepper chopped
1 tsp black pepper
6 cups penne pasta
2 cups mushroom chopped
3 tsp olive oil
In a skillet heat olive oil and cook ground beef, onion, garlic, yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper, mushroom. Cook for 10 minutes or until meat is brown. Drain excess oil from skillet and add milk & condensed cream of celery soup to skillet and cook for about 5 minutes.
In a separate medium sauce pan cook penne pasta as directed on packing. When the pasta is cooked, drain the water from the pasta and add the pasta to the cooked ground beef. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Enjoy!
